Overview

As the Area Sales Manager (ASM), you will be a key player in our Dynamic Sales Solution Service, focusing on proactive sales across a portfolio of 6 multi-branded hotels located in the USA and/or Canada. This role is remote-based and reports to a Director of Sales.

Responsibilities

Strategic Sales: Proactively drive outbound sales initiatives for a portfolio of 6 multi-branded hotels, fostering a sales-oriented culture among General Managers and Front Desk staff.
Revenue Growth: Accountable for achieving revenue milestones on a 6-month sales cycle, activating new accounts, and increasing market share from existing accounts through strategic prospecting.
Client Engagement: Conduct bi-weekly sales strategy presentations using MS Teams to update hotels on progress and ensure alignment with sales objectives.
Sales Pipeline Management: Develop and nurture a robust sales pipeline using Salesforce CRM, focusing on account management and shortening the sales cycle.
Collaboration: Work closely with your assigned team (POD) to execute the Dynamic Sales Solution model, driving revenue across the hotel portfolio.
Client Relationship Management: Ensure exceptional client experiences, manage client expectations, and uphold high client satisfaction levels while representing hotels with professionalism.
Travel: Occasionally travel for in-market visits to strengthen client relationships and expand sales opportunities with Hotel Owners, General Managers, and teams.
Requirements

Sales Experience: Minimum 3 years of consecutive hotel guestroom sales experience, preferably in business transient, crew, and government segments within select service hotels.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with hotel systems, RFP processes, and brand tools, with a strong ability to communicate and negotiate effectively to convert prospects into revenue.
CRM Proficiency: Proven experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems to manage sales pipelines, daily activities, and follow-ups effectively.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint) to manage portfolios, analyze reports, and deliver presentations.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to create correspondence, proposals, and reports effectively.
Organizational Skills: Strong organization, time management, and adaptability skills essential for success in a dynamic work environment.
Team Player: Collaborative mindset with a goal-oriented approach, eager to contribute, learn, and drive continuous improvement.
