Here at our Zagreb office, we are looking for a proactive and highly organized   HR Specialist  to support the smooth delivery of HR operations, compliance, employee engagement initiatives, and site-wide events. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the heart of a stable site , supporting both day-to-day HR processes and the delivery of memorable events that shape our culture and employee experience. Please note that most administrative operations are delivered by an external agency, such as payroll input and the creation of administrative documents (employment contracts, amendments and similar) , thus allowing the HR Specialist to focus on other important areas related to HR. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a moderately paced , but hands-on environment and wants to grow their HR career by gaining exposure to multiple areas including HR systems, payroll coordination, internal communications, and executive support. Job description: + Be the face of the company towards local employees and p rovide first-line support to line managers and employees in the HR processes . + Process employee lifecycle changes, including promotions, transfers, leaves of absence, and terminations, ensuring accuracy and timely updates. + Manage a wide range of employee benefits while ensuring compliance with labor and tax law , as well as P&G's internal policies. + Process payroll-related updates by ensuring data accuracy , managing employee changes impacting pay. + Plan and deliver high-quality internal events and initiatives connected to employee wellbeing. + Plan and deliver activities related to talent attraction. + Manage relationships and processes connected to external vendors . + Lead the creation and distribution of employee communications, ensuring consistent messaging aligned with site culture and business updates. + Actively contribute to the planning and execution of community engagement initiatives, including volunteering and sustainability activities , as well as supporting the delivery of Equality & Inclusion (E&I) initiatives. Job Qualifications Job Qualifications + Previous experience as an H R generalist , HR specialist or a similar role. + Previous experience in benefit management and extensive knowledge about benefit taxation and personal income tax. + Previous experience in payroll operations. + Knowledge and experience in local labor law . + Experience managing events or coordinating meetings is a plus ( e.g. volunteering, wellbeing initiatives and similar). + Clear and confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills. + English proficiency .
