Description

Job is in St Petersburg Florida..not remote.

The HVAC Mechanical Designer will work on HVAC load calculations, equipment selections and ductwork layouts.

Requirements

3+ years of HVAC mechanical design experience.

Knowledge of constructability and strong design fundamentals for mechanical and plumbing systems and installation methods

Experience with VRV, WSHP and DX Split systems and/or CADD/Revit experience

Detailed knowledge of mechanical codes. (IPC, IMC, IBC, ASHRAE)

Able to read and interpret blueprints, submittals and specifications and perform basic HVAC calculations

Knowledge of HVAC load calculations using Trane Trace or similar HVAC load and energy analysis programs

Experience in duct sizing, layout and design for air systems.

Bachelors Degree in Engineering (preferred)
