Location: Phoenix, Arizona (Day 1 Onsite)

Experience: 5-6+ years Visa: H1B, OPT

Max Rate: $35-42/hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Junior Python Developer with 5-6+ years of experience to join our team supporting American Express. The role is based onsite in Phoenix, Arizona, from Day 1. The ideal candidate will have strong Python programming skills, experience in developing scalable applications, and a solid understanding of software development principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and services.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement technical solutions.
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and optimization of applications.
• Ensure application scalability and performance through effective design and testing.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for code and processes.
• Stay updated with the latest Python technologies and frameworks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 5-6+ years of Python development experience.
• Proficiency in developing RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party services.
• Experience with Python frameworks such as Flask or Django.
• Strong knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and ORM libraries.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Solid understanding of version control systems like Git.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Open to candidates with H1B or OPT visa status.
• Ready to work onsite in Phoenix, Arizona, from Day 1.
