Install Team Member | Finish Carpenter | Custom Installer Company: Closet Factory of Oklahoma Location: Oklahoma City, OK Are you skilled at building and installing custom cabinetry and closets? What a Typical Day Looks Like:
  • Start at Our Headquarters: Arrive at our OKC facility and review your job with the manufacturing team.
  • Prepare for Installation: Load your company-provided van with the necessary materials, tools, and hardware.
  • Head to the Job Site: Travel to the customer’s home to install products according to design specifications. Depending on the job’s complexity, you may work with a second installer or a helper.
  • Stay Connected: Regularly check in with the shop leader or company owner to update progress and address any needs.
  • Complete the Job: Finalize the installation, clean the work area, perform a walkthrough with the customer, and collect final payment.
  • Wrap Up: Return to the shop, complete your install report, and note any items or tasks needed to finish the job.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and assemble products according to specifications and instructions.
  • Use hand and power tools to complete installation tasks.
  • Measure and cut materials for a precise fit and alignment.
  • Inspect installations for quality and accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Collaborate with team members for efficient project completion.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience in custom closet or cabinetry installation is required.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
  • Valid Drivers License
