Position: Interior Design Architect
Location: Remote (LATAM) (Preferably Colombia or Mexico)
Salary: $1,500 - $2,000 USD/month
Employment Type: Full-Time, Independent Contractor

Key Responsibilities

  • Design Excellence: Conceptualize and develop innovative interior design solutions that integrate seamlessly with architectural elements.
  • Planning and Drafting: Create detailed floor plans, elevations, 3D renderings, and technical drawings using industry-standard design software.
  • Client Collaboration: Engage with clients to understand their design preferences, functional requirements, and project goals.
  • Project Oversight: Coordinate the design process from concept to completion, ensuring designs meet aesthetic, functional, and regulatory standards.
  • Material Selection: Research and recommend materials, finishes, and furnishings that align with the design vision and budget.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with contractors, suppliers, and other team members to ensure designs are accurately implemented.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all designs adhere to local building codes, safety regulations, and client specifications.

Required Qualifications

  • Professional Experience: 5-10 years of proven experience in architectural and interior design projects.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing innovative and completed interior design and architectural work.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and rendering software (e.g., V-Ray or Lumion).
  • Design Acumen: Exceptional attention to detail, creativity, and a deep understanding of space planning and aesthetics.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and presentation skills to convey ideas effectively to clients and stakeholders.
  • Independent Work Ethic: Self-driven, organized, and capable of managing deadlines and multitasking in a remote setting.
