POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Furniture Showroom Stager / Interior Designer at Seaside Vacation Homes, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing innovative interior designs that captivate our customers and drive sales. Your keen eye for aesthetics, spatial arrangements, and coastal design trends will be essential in creating inviting and visually appealing vignettes within our furniture showroom. You will collaborate with the sales team to understand customer preferences and incorporate market trends into your designs, ensuring that our showroom remains a source of inspiration for our local demographic.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conceptualize and execute innovative interior designs that align with our local demographic, creating inviting and visually appealing spaces within the furniture store showroom.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer preferences and incorporate market trends into the showroom displays.
  • Select and arrange furniture, decor, and accessories to create cohesive and aesthetically pleasing vignettes that inspire customers and drive sales.
  • Utilize knowledge of design principles, color schemes, and spatial arrangements to enhance the overall ambiance of the showroom.
  • Ensure that furniture placement complies with safety regulations and maximizes the use of available space.
  • Assist in organizing and merchandising inventory within the showroom, ensuring a seamless and visually appealing shopping experience.
  • Collaborate with homeowners and vendors to redesign or update their interiors, offering custom orders when available.
  • Uphold a standard of excellence in customer service by providing design advice and assistance to customers when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience as a Showroom Stager/Interior Designer
  • Ability to showcase successful projects with professional visual examples or a portfolio.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members, customers, and vendors.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and spatial arrangements.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing design trends and business needs.
  • Ability to confidently utilize technology and computers.
  • Ability to lift and move furniture as required during showroom setup and rearrangement.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

OTE to $30,000 - $40,000/ annually

Schedule

  • Part Time, Flexible schedule, some Sundays preferred
