Job Description

INTERNET/INTRANET WEB DESIGNER

Kaimetrix is seeking an experienced Internet/Intranet Web Designer to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of industry-related web development experience, with a strong background in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience working with Drupal Web Content Management System (CMS). The role requires expertise in web content management systems (Drupal & EMC Documentation) and proficiency in utilizing jQuery, Highcharts, Highstock, and Bootstrap. This position involves supporting the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Key Responsibilities:

Web Design & Development:

  • Organize, design, produce, and maintain all web pages in accordance with established EPA guidelines and templates.
  • Create and provide oversight of file templates, graphics, video, and other resources for staff.

Project Management:

  • Organize work and ensure that deadlines are met.
  • Contact the EPA COTR to prioritize the work in situations where the workload exceeds the Contractor’s ability to meet deadlines.

Application Development Support:

  • Provide programming support to USEPA Region 2 in-house efforts in web-based application development activities.
  • Assist USEPA software developers in designing software components for building enterprise-wide application systems.
  • Use programming languages, database management systems, frameworks, etc., as directed by the COR.

Task Management:

  • Submit programming tasks.
  • Use USEPA supplied tools for version control management and storing software documentation.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of industry-related web development experience.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Extensive experience with Drupal Web Content Management System.
  • Experience with web content management systems (Drupal & EMC Documentation).
  • Proficiency in jQuery, Highcharts, Highstock, and Bootstrap.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
