J Harlan Group is currently conducting a search for an experienced and highly motivated Investment Associate with M&A – Buyout experience at a prominent NYC Private Equity - Investment Manager.
An exciting opportunity to be a key part of the growth of the firm, funds and team and will work closely with senior members of the firm to evaluate and execute on investments within numerous asset classes and across the capital structure.
This individual will be a significant contributor in enabling their vision and helping the organization to grow and improve their businesses. To be successful in this role you must be highly detail oriented and organized, able to meet assigned deadlines and have first class communication and interpersonal skills.

The firm is leading private equity investment manager specializing in the transportation sector, currently focused on rail and aviation assets. They target investment opportunities that can benefit from their deep, longstanding relationships, access to proprietary information, financial structuring, and operational expertise. They focus on investing in assets that generate consistent cash flow and have significant downside protection.
Founded in 2014, the firm manages ~$1.75bn+ of investor capital across rail, aviation & container strategies with locations in NYC, Chicago, and St. Louis.

The salary range is $80,000 - $130,000 plus employees may also be eligible for annual discretionary incentive compensation. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable laws.
