Job Summary:
The IT Director will oversee the strategic planning, organization, and execution of all IT operations. Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining the network environment, directories, and security protocols. The role involves managing the support and maintenance of existing applications while driving the development and implementation of innovative technical solutions. The IT Director will actively participate in hardware and software evaluations, as well as manage vendor contracts, ensuring informed purchasing decisions based on bid pricing, accurate record-keeping, and compliance.
Staying updated on industry trends, ensuring compliance with security measures, and effectively communicating updates to IT policies and procedures is essential. Strong interpersonal communication skills are necessary to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical staff, as well as to collaborate with organizational leaders to build consensus on strategies and tactics.
Travel: This position regularly requires up to 60% local travel.
