Job Description

As the Junior Content and Social Media Manager at Urban Sports Club, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing our engaged and active online community while creating compelling content tailored to our local market. In this key position, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and growing our online community and blogs. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in translating and adapting marketing materials to resonate with local languages and cultural segments.

Responsibilities :

Community Building and Engagement:

  • Develop and execute strategies to expand and engage the local community, fostering inclusivity and positivity.
  • Moderate discussions, resolve conflicts, and promote respectful interactions within the community.
  • Identify opportunities for community growth and implement strategies to attract new members.
  • Collaborate with local influencers to enhance our community's reach.
  • Empower and engage community advocates to amplify our brand message

Content Creation and Sharing:

  • Create and curate compelling content that resonates with the interests and needs of our local community.
  • Share company updates, news, and relevant content to keep the community informed.
  • Develop and schedule posts to maintain an active online presence.
  • Maintain and update local B2C and B2B blogs with content that engages both customer segments.
  • Generate and distribute a members' newsletter with region-specific and engaging content.

Community Management:

  • Manage and monitor our social media channels to engage with the local community and promptly respond to comments and messages.
  • Collect and analyze community feedback to provide valuable insights for enhancing our services and member experience.
  • Generate reports on community engagement and sentiment, tailoring them to our local markets.
  • Develop and enforce community guidelines and policies to ensure a safe and respectful online environment.
  • Collaborate with the marketing teams to support local community-related events and campaigns.
  • Promote local events and encourage active participation within the community.
  • Translate and adapt marketing materials to effectively reach different languages and cultural segments within our local market.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in community management or a related field.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and community management tools.
  • Ability to analyze data and derive insights to improve community engagement.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Familiarity with online community management best practices.
  • Passion for building and nurturing communities.
  • Strong understanding of our brand, local market dynamics, and community needs.
