About the Role:
Intelliforce is seeking a dynamic and skilled Full Stack Java Developer with a strong emphasis on backend development. In this role, you'll be integral to building and maintaining robust applications that handle large datasets, while also contributing to both front-end and back-end development as needed. Partial telework is available, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Backend Development: Focus primarily on backend development using Java, Spring, and Microservices architecture.
• Data Management: Work with databases like ElasticSearch/Open Search and Postgres to manage and optimize large datasets.
• Full Stack Development: Contribute to front-end development as needed, ensuring seamless integration between front-end and back-end components.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and implement best practices to enhance the development process.

Key Technologies and Skills:

• Must-Have Experience:

  • Java development with a strong focus on backend support.
  • Proficiency in Spring Framework and Microservices architecture.
  • Experience working with large data systems using ElasticSearch/Open Search and Postgres databases.

• General Nice to Have:

  • Front-end development experience with React.
  • Familiarity with Docker and other CI/CD and DevOps tools.
  • Experience with AWS or other cloud delivery frameworks.

Qualifications:

• Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • OR 4 years of Software Engineering (SWE) experience in lieu of a degree.

• Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in full stack development, with a focus on backend technologies.
• Clearance:
  • TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Citizenship:  
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
