Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Location: Bensalem, PA
Hours/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
Compensation: $20/hour
Type: Contract (potential for hire)

Overview
Join a fast-paced laboratory team at an industrial services company in Bensalem, PA. This entry-level Laboratory Technician role is ideal for individuals seeking to gain hands-on experience in a lab setting. While the initial assignment is to cover a team member’s leave, the company has previously converted high-performing temporary employees into permanent team members. Great opportunity to gain exposure to oil analysis, instrument calibration, and general lab operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inventory and cycle counts

• Perform general lab maintenance and cleaning tasks

• Support routine lab operations and testing as training progresses

• Analyze oil, fuel, and coolant samples using methods outlined in the company's analysis program

• Perform instrument calibrations and verifications in line with SOPs and manufacturer guidelines

• Help fill staffing gap while a full-time employee is on leave

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, microbiology, or physics – preferred but not required

• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of lab work experience – preferred but not required

• Intermediate computer skills including experience with Windows-based applications, data entry, and email

• Energetic, personable, and eager to learn

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established lab protocols

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer
