Welcome Home! Belmark is seeking individuals to join our team at our Flexible Packaging plant in De Pere, WI. You may be wondering - what do we do here at Belmark? Well, we create many of the labels, cartons, pressure sensitive, and flexible film we as consumers see daily when shopping for various items. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a solventless laminator at the highest efficiency possible while following standard operating procedures and work instructions to produce a high quality product. Schedule:

  • PM shift hours are from 4:00 P.M. - 4:00 A.M. with a schedule of 3 days on and 4 days off
  • 12 hour shifts with consistent hours, NO SWING SHIFT
  • Work 36 hours, get paid for 40 hours
  • Overtime after 36 hours!
  • Employees on this shift work 36 hours and are paid for 40 hours. Many of our employees enjoy the rotating shift due to the days off received, which allows for time to accomplish things around the home and spend time with friends and family!

Pay:

  • $21.50 - $24.00 per Hour. The hourly rate for this position is determined by the level of the role, relevant experience, and may incorporate shift differentials, ensuring fair compensation that reflects both expertise and responsibilities entailed.
  • Shift differential for the PM shift is $1.00 per hour

What will I do in this role?

  • Responsible to follow all safety procedures as required by the role, and to nurture a food safety culture by adhering to all Safe Quality Foods requirements.
  • Responsible for complying with and following all standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Perform all job tasks utilizing required personal protective equipment and correct safety procedures.
  • Maintain quality, productivity and waste according to set standards.
  • Ensure product adhesive weight and appearance.
  • Maintain adhesives.
  • Ensure proper sleeve, tensions, machine alignment and settings on each job.
  • Web the laminator.
  • Clean the laminator.
  • Install sleeves and assist in installing rollers.
  • Install shafts in the turrets.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires education equivalent to two (2) years of high school.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to effectively utilize the English language.
  • Ability to read, comprehend and follow simple written and oral instructions.
  • Regular attendance is an essential function of the position. May be required to work some overtime.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, decimals and fractions.
  • Ability to give, receive and analyze information.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Requires nearly constant concentration and attention to detail.
  • Ability to: stand and walk for 90% of work time; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl for 10% of work time.
  • Ability to: see clearly at 20 inches or less; see clearly at 20 feet or more; identify and distinguish colors; observe and area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point; judge distances and spatial relationships; and to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus.
  • Ability to: use hands for 100% of work time; reach above shoulders for 50% of work time; and use feet to operate machines for 30% of work time.
  • Ability to lift: 10 pounds or less 25% of work time; 25 pounds or less 30% of work time; 50 pounds or less 25% of work time; and may lift 100 pounds or less 5% of work time. (Example: lifting roll of material on and off the press approximately 6 ft.).
  • May lift 100 pounds or more.
  • May be required to use sense of smell.
