Performs the following non-technical functions under the supervision of the department Supervisor/Manager: preparing ED-specimens for analysis, submission and monitoring of specimens submitted to referral laboratories and/or patient registration. Perform duties consistent with written procedures and regulatory requirements, will also support the department in achieving department goals for service, quality, regulatory compliance, financial performance, patient satisfaction, health work environment and integration of intra and inter-departmental activities, obtaining and/or assisting in the processing of laboratory specimens to facilitate the production of quality results. Perform LIS/computer operations and clerical functions as needed.
