TITLE:Lead Software Engineer
LOCATION:Washington, D.C. and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. (remote position)
DUTIES:Provides high quality software systems by analyzing requirements, providing technical design, developing / configuring software, and supporting testing and deployment. Works closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand the business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. Provides technical leadership as part of a diverse team and provides consistent ownership for increasingly complex deliverables. Consults in the project planning process with customers, IT business analysts, architects, and team members. Creates technical design specifications and assists in sizing technical requirements. Ensures that the design and application implementation meet security and QA standards. Provides recommendations for system enhancements by conducting gap analysis, identifying feasible alternative solutions, and assisting in the scope of modifications. Implements integration plans. Interfaces with testing teams to incorporate plans into integration testing process. Provides technical leadership coaching and mentoring to team members. May manage vendor relationships that are required to provide operational support.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field followed by five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in an occupation related to computer systems engineering. Experience must include five (5) years with each of the following: (1) Designing, configuring, and implementing SAP modules - Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO) and integration touchpoints with Sales (SD), Logistics (MM) and Project Systems (PS) modules; (2) Performing systems analysis using SAP products, technologies, and competencies, across multiple SAP systems and solutions; (3) Configuring Financial Accounting (FI) that includes General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting (BA); and (4) Gathering business requirements, generating design documents and functional specifications, performing SAP configurations, testing, coordinating production deployments and providing post go-live support. Must also have three (3) years of experience: (5) Troubleshooting and performance tuning of SAP applications as part of Level III Production Support. All experience may be acquired concurrently. Remote work permitted in accordance with standard company policy. All positions require pre-employment background check verification and a pre-employment drug screen.
SALARY:$143,458 - $149,400 per year
