Requirements

Contracts Administration:

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for contract management and legal compliance.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records and documentation of contracts.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with contracts and agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to provide guidance and support regarding contracts.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Oversee the contract administration process, including the preparation, execution, and storage of contracts.
  • Monitor contract performance and ensure all obligations are met.
  • Conduct audits of contracts to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 compliance and participate in audits.

Legal:

  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks associated with business operations.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to provide proactive legal guidance and support.
  • Collaborate with outside counsel as needed to ensure legal compliance.
  • Collaborate with outside counsel to manage, resolve, and mitigate legal disputes and issues as they arise.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations and industry standards.
  • Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of corporate matters.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and coach staff.

Job Qualification Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in Arizona.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in corporate law and contract management.
  • Certification in contract management (e.g., CPCM, CFCM) is a plus

Physical Demands May Include:

  • Sit at a computer for up to 8 hours per day

  • Keyboarding for up to 8 hours per day

  • Near Vision (working with small objects or reading small print)

  • Speaking (communicating information to clients/coworkers)

  • Hearing Requirements (In person speech, telephone, other sounds)
