Job Description

Location: Los Angeles, CA

We are looking for a Licensed General Contractor who takes ownership, solves problems, and delivers results. This role goes beyond typical construction management — we need someone who can oversee the full scope of a 17,000-square-foot custom home project in Los Angeles , from foundations to final inspections, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all phases of construction, including foundation, framing, utilities, interior/exterior finishes, and final inspections.
  • Manage subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
  • Obtain necessary permits, schedule inspections, and ensure compliance with California building codes and Los Angeles city regulations.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress updates.
  • Communicate regularly with homeowners, architects, engineers, and consultants.
  • Proactively identify and resolve construction challenges to minimize delays and cost overruns.
  • Maintain a safe, efficient, and organized job site.

Requirements:

  • Active California General Contractor License (Class B required).
  • Minimum 5–10 years of residential construction experience, with proven success in custom home projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Los Angeles permitting process, building codes, and zoning regulations.
  • Track record of delivering projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and manage complex project timelines.
  • Foundation expertise is a plus.
  • Familiarity with construction management software is a plus.

This is a contractual position for a 2-year project, with compensation structured as a salary plus bonus to be determined based on experience and project scope.

If you are a licensed professional with a passion for high-quality residential construction and proven experience delivering exceptional results, we’d love to work with you. Please send your portfolio and qualifications for consideration.
