In this role, you will work alongside experienced healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care in emergency settings. Your contributions will be vital in supporting our mission to provide exceptional staffing solutions within the healthcare industry. 

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in emergency medicine settings
• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Document patient care accurately and timely in medical records
• Educate patients and their families on health management
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide necessary interventions
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and training programs

Requirements

• Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
• Associate degree or higher in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies
• Experience in emergency medicine or urgent care settings preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Flexible Scheduling: 5-10 shifts per month, 7p-7a, no call shifts

Daily Census: 8-21 patients

Annual Volume: 10,000 patients

8 ED beds

Procedures: Resuscitation, intubation (including surgical airways), ventilator management, pressor agents, sedation, and interpreting blood gases

Will work independently on the ER and HM floors

Support Staff: 2 RNs, LPN, respiratory therapist, supervising RN

EMR: MedHost

Board certification required

Paid travel & lodging provided
