Team Karl Malone is seeking a Lot Attendant/Porter. As a member of our team, you will be instrumental in moving vehicles throughout the dealership, driving forklifts, and keeping things organized and cleaned up! You’ll play a crucial role on our team by helping our sales, repair, and delivery teams be able to find and access vehicles when needed. Responsibilities 

• Maintain new and used vehicle inventory appearance through detailed cleaning of the interior and exterior.
• Installs protective coverings (seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, etc.) and tags in all vehicles brought in for service
• Replenish vehicle fluids and replace batteries as necessary.
• Helps maintain shop cleanliness, including windows, doors, floors, etc.
• Transports dealer trade vehicles between dealerships 
• Transports customers to and from their homes as needed
• Working with the General Sales Manager, keep new and used vehicle lots neat, orderly, and in accordance with dealership display standards.
• Ensure all driveways and sidewalks are free from debris and snow.
• Move vehicles to and from service areas, overflow, and parking lot.
• Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements 

• Valid driver’s license free from major infractions
• Ability to drive a manual transmission, smoothly
• Able to safely operate motor vehicles in tight and small spaces
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Basic computer and internet skills
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
• Must be customer service oriented
• Must be self-motivated with good written and verbal communication skills
• Strive to respect and facilitate teamwork within all departments
• Ability to multi-task
• Attention to detail and the ability to see tasks through
• Position requires continual standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the entire shift.
