Requirements
• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing Program
• Current and unrestricted LPN license in the State of Washington
• Current CPR/BLS certification (AHA-approved)
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience (experience in correctional, public health, or acute care setting preferred)
• Familiarity with NCCHC standards preferred
• Ability to pass comprehensive background checks and drug screening
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
• Ability to function effectively in a secure, high-paced clinical environment
Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or other licensed medical provider.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to clinical protocols and facility policies.
• Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, wound care, specimen collection, and documentation.
• Assist with intake screenings and monitoring of individuals with acute or chronic health needs.
• Support detoxification monitoring, suicide prevention protocols, and infection control measures.
• Maintain accurate, timely entries in electronic health records (EHR).
• Respond to urgent and emergent medical issues as needed.
• Adhere to facility safety protocols while ensuring a secure, professional care environment.
• Participate in team meetings, shift transitions, and required in-service or continuing education programs.
• Ensure compliance with NCCHC standards and all applicable facility, state, and federal regulations.
