Job Description

Our ideal candidate appreciates a variety of projects, is mechanically inclined, and enjoys the sport of bowling. This is a part time position 15-25 hours per week. We have a fun environment and no 2 days are ever the same. Some front desk customer service duties are required.

Keep in mind our busy time is weekends and evening shifts. Our team is willing to further training for the right candidate on most everything for someone having the basic knowledge of mechanics.

Responsibilities:

Perform minor electrical, mechanical, and technical work related to construction, repairs, preventive and scheduled maintenance of bowling equipment and building maintenance

Repair and maintain all bowling center equipment including the newest on the market Brunswick GSX automatic pinsetters, lane and scoring equipment.

· Maintain and follow preventive maintenance schedules, cleaning and /or minor repairs.

• Maintain safety and operational procedures.

· Ensure that shop and machine areas are always clean and organized.

· Quickly and safely correct pin jams, ball return calls, and other malfunctions.

· Maintain an up to date mechanic log.

· Must have the ability to understand common technical manuals.

· Effectively communicate to center management.

• Attentive, punctual, and reliable.

· If mechanical breakdowns occur, have a plan of action to fix them in a timely manner.

· Hours include some weekends, evenings or on-call to support the business needs.
