ESSENTIAL‌ ‌JOB‌ ‌FUNCTIONS:‌ ‌

• Carry food from the kitchen into the dining room to be served to the guest
• Communicate directly with the culinary team with respect to where the guests are at within their dining experience
• Verbally advise the culinary team when to begin preparing a guest’s next course 
• Communicate any potential guest issues directly with the culinary team as well as the serving team 
• Properly set up work-station prior to the beginning of each shift as well as properly break down at the end of each shift 
• Must know what each dish is and be able to properly explain it, along with the ingredients, to the guest 

EXPERIENCE AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in a similar boutique hotel preferred
• Valid Food Handling certification
• Ability to use repetitive hand and body motions on a regular basis such as grasping, typing, writing, listening, hearing, and visual acuity
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time on varying ground levels with stairs on a regular basis 
• Ability to lift 20 pounds or more on a consistent basis and to bend, stoop, stretch, climb and squat frequently to fulfill a range of manual tasks

Pay rate for the Market Attendant / Expediter position is $16.00 per hour
