Job Title: Marketing Events Support Specialist

Location: McLean, VA Headquarters

Job Summary:

The Marketing Events Support Specialist is responsible for managing assigned operational projects in support of the Marketing team, with expertise in event execution, brand awareness and consistency and customer experience.

The Marketing Events Support Specialist will collaborate with teammates and leaders to support and execute the programs and content relevant to the Public Sector customer engagement journey.

Responsibilities:

· Ensure booth properties and setup are on-brand and consistent in terms of appearance and style, quality and tone of voice; work tightly within the stated terms of the sponsorship contract agreed to and provided by the event organizers.

· Via collaboration with field marketing manager and warehouse staff, organize and ship all booth properties, elements, giveaways, collateral, etc. to scheduled events well ahead of event build/execution.

· Travel to event sites in advance of event launch and set up booth in accordance with brand consistency. Manage all booth properties, to include flooring, electricity, internet, lighting placement, furniture rental/placement, etc.

· Provide presence and support during events as requested by field marketing manager, remaining onsite during all event hours.

· Provide teardown and packing services at event completion, ensuring booth properties, giveaways, collateral, etc. are returned to warehouse and accepted by staff.

· Contribute to annual/quarterly budget planning strategies and business reviews for presentation to leadership and executive teams.

· Communicate with customers and vendors in a professional, concise, and effective manner.

· Perform additional operational and support tasks as needed and/or requested.

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

· Minimum five (5) years' demonstrated expertise in marketing event logistics.

· Passion for marketing and brand recognition in support of our company and customers. Results-oriented with ambition to advance company and career.

· Outstanding interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

· Effective time management skills and the ability to multi-task; calm under pressure.

· Team player who works well collaboratively and is quick to credit others.

· Positive attitude with humility and a sense of humor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $95,000.00 per year
