This position is for a Medical Assistant in a cardiology clinic. The MA will provide clinical and administrative support to the physicians and other members of the healthcare team. Responsibilities include taking patient vitals (including manual blood pressure), performing 12-lead EKGs, assisting with chart preparation, medication refills, and record requests. The position requires at least six months of experience in an adult outpatient clinic setting, with cardiology clinic experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

- Processing medication refills and record requests.
- Performing other clinical duties as assigned.
- Performing administrative tasks as needed.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification.
- At least six months of experience in an adult outpatient clinic setting.
- BLS certification.
- Ability to perform manual blood pressure readings.
- Reliable transportation.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in a cardiology clinic.
- EPIC experience.
Special Considerations:
- This is not a floating role; the position is stationed only at the Cherry Hill location.
- Open to local and traveling candidates.
- On-call is not required.
- License must be in hand; pending licenses are not accepted.
- RTO restrictions should be confirmed with the hiring manager.
Scheduling:
- 5 x 8-hour days, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
