Position: Medical Biller

Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:00am - 4:30pm)

Pay Range: $19.00 - $20.00 (based on experience)

Dress Code: Business Casual

Location: Langhorne Pennsylvania 19047-1800 United States

• We are seeking an energetic, highly organized and detail-oriented candidate to join our team as a Medical Billing Specialist .
• This role needs a person who has the basic experience or education in medical billing and coding.

Role and Duties:

• Submit billing accurately and on time for payment.
• Review and reconcile billing reports for discrepancies.
• Help resolve billing issues promptly.
• Stay updated on billing regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Work with other departments to streamline the billing processes.
• Proficient in medical billing procedures, software systems, and compliance requirements.
• Report billing performance, trends, and recommendations to Billing Supervisor.
• Complete tasks as assigned.

Skills & Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in medical billing and coding.
• Proficient in medical billing software and electronic health records systems.
• Maintain a patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid is preferred, but not required.
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to meet performance goals.
• Ability to exercise judgement and make sound decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent phone and computer skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
• Work in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiar with standard forms and electronic billing.
• Certification in medical billing and coding is preferred but not required but experience a MUST!
