Job Description

Why Join Dallas Sleep? We’re an innovative sleep medicine clinic that has been serving our community since 2006. Our mission is simple: to help people sleep better, feel better, and live healthier lives. We pride ourselves on being resilient, resourceful, and growth-oriented, and we’re looking for a strong leader who shares these values. We provide great benefits, including PTO, health insurance, 401k, and monthly productivity bonuses, in addition to your base pay! Plus, we believe in work-life balance – our week ends at 3:00 PM on Fridays! Position Overview We are seeking a Medical Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our sleep clinics and lead our team with professionalism, efficiency, and care. This is a hands-on leadership role — in addition to managing staff and clinic operations, you will actively support the front desk, medical assistants, billing/insurance functions, and external marketing with referral sources to ensure the clinic performs successfully. Responsibilities: Oversee medical office operations and personnel across locations. Perform front desk duties such as patient check-in/out, scheduling, and phone communication. Assist providers and MAs with patient flow, vitals, and chart preparation as needed. Supervise billing and insurance processes, including verification, claims submission, and patient balances. Build and maintain strong relationships with outside clinics, physicians, and referral sources to drive patient referrals and promote services. Manage inbound and outbound communication with patients and partners. Establish and enforce clinic policies and ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations. Monitor workflow, patient satisfaction, and clinic efficiency; implement improvements as needed. Collaborate with physicians and providers to ensure excellent patient care. Support staff development through training, coaching, and feedback. Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment. Skills & Qualifications: Willingness to work at Plano, Frisco, and McKinney locations. Bachelor's degree Previous healthcare or medical office experience. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication. Proficiency with computers, EHR systems, and problem-solving. Ability to balance both administrative oversight and hands-on support. Preferred: Prior management or supervisory experience. Experience in front desk operations, medical assisting, insurance verification, billing, and referral marketing/outreach. Customer service and/or sales background. Personal Qualities We Value Initiative, confidence, and accountability. Positive attitude and professional demeanor. Detail-oriented with strong follow-through. Commitment to personal growth and continuous learning. An “attitude of gratitude” and respect for others. Desire to help patients and support a team.
