Job Description

Fast-paced Dermatology Practice is seeking full-time Medical Receptionist to join our team!

Duties: 

• Patient scheduling, reminder calls, follow-up appointments
• Checking in patients, verifying insurance as well as updating patient demographics in EMR
• Filing, faxing, scanning, general clerical work
• Knowledge and desire to navigate practice Website and follow up patient inquiries from website
• Communicating with patients via phone as well as office email

Qualifications

• The ability to understand and differentiate between patient insurances; commercial plans vs Medicare
• Must be able and willing to accurately enter patient information in system.
• Must have strong computer and technology skills
• Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with patients, providers and coworkers.
• Positive attitude to contribute to the existing AWESOME environment in the office(s)
• Punctuality is a must and have reliable transportation as we cover two locations
• Must be a team player, able and willing to follow directions and eager to learn

Job Type:

• Full-time Monday to Friday (7:30 to 4:30)

Experience:

• Medical experience a plus but not needed – we will train – but you must want to be a part of an awesome team and to grow with us
• Dermatology experience is preferred

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

Pay:

• Pay starts at $18.00 per hour and increases based on experience
