Registered Nurse – MedSurg - $30,000 Sign On Bonus

Our Client: Our Client is a full-service healthcare provider that has been serving the Kansas City, MO community for over 20 years.

The Position: Our Client is seeking a qualified med-surg registered nurse. In collaboration with the patient, the patient’s family, and other members of the health care team, the Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, evaluating, planning, implementing, and coordinating a treatment plan and achieving the goals of the nursing department. Our Client is offering the following benefits and compensation:

• $30 – $41.50 per hour depending on experience
• Shift Diff:
  • $4.00 for nights
  • $4.00 weekends
• Sign on bonus – $30,000

Job Responsibilities:

• Available Shifts:
  • Days (Rotating Weekends) 12 Hour Shift
  • Nights (Rotating Weekends) 12 Hour Shift
• Med/Surg specialty units include nephrology, ortho, neuro
• 49 bed units (Nurse to patient ratio 6:1)
• Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
• Analyze the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues
• Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation
• Act as an advocate for patient safety.
• Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment.
• Educate patients regarding their medications, procedures and treatments, providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay.

Job Requirements:

• 1 year of acute care experience (Does not need to be recent experience)
• Missouri RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain a Missouri license after relocation.
• ASN or BSN
