Mobile Phlebotomy Position within the DFW area.
This position will be located within the Mobile Phlebotomy Services Department. This position is responsible for the collection and receipt of biological specimens into the department, their proper entry into the company’s computer system, the preparation of samples for analytical testing, and/or the distribution of these specimens to the proper analytical area. The ideal candidate has a good driving record, high attention to detail and drive to help patient. CORE FUNCTIONS To include the following:
1) Specimen collection at Nursing Homes, Assisted Living facilities, Long-Term Care Facilities & Private patient homes.
2) Transportation of the specimen back to the main testing facility in Bedford TX.
3) General laboratory specimen processing.
In doing so, ensuring correct patient and specimen identification and specimen integrity by using appropriate techniques for all age criteria as required
