Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a responsible and caring part-time nanny for 11-year-old triplets. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and be comfortable around dogs. Responsibilities include preparing small meals and snacks, light tutoring in math and literature, overseeing the children’s chores, and providing care during some weekends with flexible hours. The nanny should also be willing to travel with the family. No smoking or vaping is allowed.

Key Responsibilities:

Child Care:

• Provide attentive and nurturing care to 11-year-old triplets.
• Supervise and engage the children in age-appropriate activities.
• Ensure the children's safety and well-being at all times.

Meal Preparation:

• Prepare small meals and snacks for the children.
• Ensure meals are nutritious and meet dietary needs.

Transportation:

• Transport the children to and from activities, appointments, and school as needed.
• Ensure safe and timely transportation at all times.

L ight Tutoring:

• Assist the children with homework and school assignments, focusing on math and literature.
• Provide additional educational support and enrichment activities.

Chores Supervision:

• Oversee the children's daily chores and ensure they are completed.
• Encourage responsibility and a sense of accomplishment in the children.

Pet Care:

• Be comfortable around dogs and assist with basic pet care as needed.

Flexible Schedule:

• Be available for part-time hours with flexibility for some weekends.
• Willingness to travel with the family for vacations and other trips.

No Smoking or Vaping:

• Maintain a smoke-free and vape-free environment at all times.

Qualifications:

Experience:

• Previous experience as a nanny or babysitter preferred.
• Experience with multiple children or triplets is a plus.

Skills and Abilities:

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to prepare simple, nutritious meals and snacks.
• Comfortable around dogs and willing to assist with pet care.
• Ability to provide light tutoring in math and literature.
• Flexibility with scheduling, including some weekends and travel.
• Ability to oversee and encourage completion of children’s chores.
