Network Engineer – Onsite | Las Vegas, NV

Fusion HCR is hiring on behalf of a premier casino and hospitality company based in Las Vegas. Known for delivering exceptional entertainment experiences, our client is expanding their IT team and is seeking a skilled Network Engineer with strong Palo Alto expertise to enhance and support critical infrastructure.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a hands-on Network Engineer with deep experience in Palo Alto firewalls, SD-WAN, routing, IP Security, and VPN tunneling. This position will focus on securing and optimizing the company’s enterprise network infrastructure. While additional experience with cloud platforms, switches, and other firewalls is a plus, it is not required.

Key Responsibilities:

Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewalls in a complex enterprise environment
Design and maintain VPN tunnels, IPSec configurations, and routing protocols to ensure secure and efficient connectivity
Support and optimize SD-WAN solutions for distributed locations
Implement and maintain robust network security best practices
Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to ensure seamless operations and compliance
Provide Tier 3 support for network-related issues and outages
Maintain documentation related to network architecture, configurations, and standards

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in network engineering with a strong focus on Palo Alto firewalls
Proficiency in SD-WAN, routing protocols, IPSec, and VPN tunneling
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to respond to issues quickly in a high-demand environment
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams

Preferred / Nice to Have:

Experience with FortiGate or other firewall systems
Exposure to cloud networking (AWS, Azure)
Familiarity with Arista, Cisco, or Aruba switches
Relevant certifications such as PCNSE, CCNA, AWS Networking, or Azure Networking Associate
