Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (Per Diem)
Location: New Jersey (Per Diem Traveler RN Role - Multiple Locations in NJ)
Duties:
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) in Labor & Delivery (Per Diem) will provide on-demand support in the L&D department. The role requires flexibility, the ability to manage various patient care needs, and readiness to assist wherever needed within the unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care to laboring patients on a per diem basis, based on staffing needs.
- Manage labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery as needed.
- Ensure proper documentation of all nursing interventions and patient care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care.
- Provide patient education and support during labor and delivery.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery.
- Ability to work in a flexible, per diem capacity.
Education:
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- BLS-AHA, NRP, NJ State RN license.
