Job Summary

• The Nutrition Assistant II is accountable for providing quality customer meals through snack and meal preparation and assembly, service and cleanup.
• Provides exceptional care and service to patients, residents, guests and fellow employees at all times.
• Supports the hospital’s goal of excellence in patient care in a Christian, caring environment by facilitating positive employee relations and supporting department goals. 
• Performs all duties and responsibilities in such a way as to demonstrate and support the hospital's Catholic heritage and Avera co-sponsorship values of hospitality, compassion and stewardship. 
• Provides care/service in accordance with regulatory and accrediting agencies standards and Catholic Ethical and Religious Directives.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, two years food service and/or training preferred or combination of education and experience preferred.

Work Schedule

• PRN, as needed, casual requirements per department policy

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $17.00 - $20.50 per hour
