Outreach Coordinator (Part-Time)

Location: Quincy, MA (travel to Norwell, Norwood, and Weymouth as needed)
Schedule: Part-Time | Monday – Friday | 20-25 hours

Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and personable Outreach Coordinator / Physician Liaison to strengthen relationships with referring providers and promote our services within the community. This role primarily focuses on external outreach, provider engagement, and business development to increase referrals for LASIK, cataract, and specialty eye-care services. Serves as a backup to the LASIK Coordinator by scheduling appointments and responding to LASIK inquires. The ideal candidate has experience in B2B sales, medical outreach, or provider relations and enjoys building long-term professional partnerships.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with primary care physicians (MDs ) to drive patient referrals for ophthalmic and surgical consultations.
  • Build trusted partnerships with optometrists (ODs) who refer patients for LASIK, cataract, or complex eye-care cases.
  • Conduct regular outreach visits to medical offices and optical practices; deliver educational and marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development Manager on outreach strategy, territory planning, and lead tracking.
  • Coordinate with the Business Development Manager to complete marketing tasks as assigned.
  • Monitor and report on referral trends, outreach outcomes, and market feedback.
  • Partner with clinical and administrative teams to ensure a smooth referral experience and high patient satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all outreach activities and provider interactions.
  • Uphold HIPAA and confidentiality standards in all communications.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings and contribute ideas for ongoing business development initiatives.
  • Strengthen relationships with referring providers and community partners to support outreach efforts and distribute marketing materials.


Qualifications:

  • Experience in B2B sales, medical outreach, provider relations, or business development preferred.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with physicians and medical offices.
  • Strong communication, customer service, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience using CRM or outreach tracking tools preferred.
  • Familiarity with marketing or analytics platforms (Google Analytics, DLMInsight, DLMReview) a plus.
  • Knowledge of medical or optical terminology helpful but not required.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in the field.
