Only Experienced, Long-term Professionals Need Apply TAILored Pet Services is hiring experienced overnight pet sitters to join our team. This is not a casual side gig—it’s a commitment to pets who rely on consistency, routine, and overnight companionship in their own home.
🚨 Read This Before Applying: We only consider candidates who meet all of the following:
- You have completed multiple 12-16 hour overnight pet sits and can provide 2 professional overnight references
- You have stayed at your last few jobs for 12+ months—no job-hoppers
- You fully understand this is a 12-hour (8am-8pm) or 16-hour in-home shift (5:00pm–9:00am) with continuous presence required
- You’re comfortable sleeping in a client’s home, possibly sharing a bed with pets
If you can't check every box above, this is not the right fit.
🐶 What You'll Do: - Evening feeding & potty routine
- Relax with pets (TV, reading, games—pets love the company!)
- Bedtime care and overnight supervision
- Morning potty break & breakfast
🕰 Typical Schedule: - 5:00pm–5:30pm: Arrival, feeding & potty
- 5:30pm–9:30pm: Down time (TV/book/laptop/etc.)
- 9:30pm–10:00pm: Final potty break
- 10:00pm–7:00am: Sleep (with pets)
- 7:00am–7:30am: Morning routine
- 7:30am–9:00am: Relax until departure
Requirements: - 2 professional references from overnight pet sitting clients
- Reliable, insured vehicle & valid driver’s license
- Smartphone with internet
- Strength to manage dogs up to 100 lbs
- Local to one of our service areas: Edmonds, Everett, Lake Stevens, Lynnwood, Mill Creek, Mountlake Terrace, Mukilteo
- Available for 7+ day assignments and at least one winter holiday
- No conflicting home obligations during overnight stays
- Willing to commit to at least one job/month for a full year
💰 Compensation (1099 Contractor): - Non-holiday 16-hour overnight: $78.75
- Holiday 16-hour overnight: $98.50
- (You receive 100% of your tips + holiday bonuses)
- You're paid for your awake hours—but most of your time is spent watching TV, reading, or relaxing with pets in a cozy home

- You can't commit to staying 12-16 hours straight in a client’s home
- You’ve changed jobs every few months
- You want full-time income (this is on-demand, part-time work)
