Paws 4 Fun is Lincoln’s premier enrichment-based daycare and boarding facility and is seeking Park Resort Staff to join our team! We offer 4 large indoor park spaces, 1 large outdoor park space, and 2 pools for dogs and their owners to play. We also offer DIY and professional grooming, training, and a variety of hand-picked retail items. Our staff members have a passion for dogs and a drive to maintain high standards of care for the dogs and cats in our care. Staff members also have a focus on cleanliness using natural non-toxic chemicals to provide a clean, odor-free environment for dogs and their owners.

Responsibilities:  Resort Staff are responsible for ensuring customers and their dogs have a good experience in the park, the facility is kept clean and daily routines for dogs are followed. Duties include:

• Ensure all dogs are having fun in the facility and quickly addressing signs of stress to maintain safety
• Understand and monitor dog interactions and body language to step in and prevent altercations
• Jump into action in the event of an altercation following facility approved protocols and procedures
• Manage the daily routine of dogs boarding or in daycare including:
• Feeding accurately according to pet parent instructions
• Administering medications reliably and accurately according to pet parent and veterinarian instructions
• Playing and enrichment activities
• Outdoor walks
• Cleaning up after the pups
• Bathe pups and perform other grooming tasks including nail trims, ear and eye cleaning, etc.
• Keep our facility pristine and organized with cleaning and disinfection protocols
• Clean and sanitize Boarding Suites and Cat Condos
• Clean and sanitize Play Parks and other parts of the facility
• Clean up messes (bodily fluids and feces) inside and outside the facility walls
• Dishes and Laundry
• Monitoring anywhere between 10-30 dogs in a group play scenario
• Assist dog owners with park usage
• Greet new clients
• Assist with check in and check out
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications of the ideal candidate:

• Previous experience with dogs or daycare/boarding preferred
• Experience working with off leash playgroups preferred
• Proactive and take initiative
• Confident and strong problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working with pups of all sizes and breeds
• Reliable transportation
• Dependable and willing to work various weekdays, weekends, and holidays
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Able to be on your feet for extended periods of time
• Ability to clean to a very high standard
• The ability to lift 50+ pounds on occasion
• Data entry skills
• Dog-savvy, organized, confident, and friendly in a fast-paced environment
• This position requires the ability to switch between a variety of responsibilities, with a strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
