A family in Bridgewater is looking for a compassionate and engaging Nanny to care for their 10-month-old son. The schedule is flexible, with the need for three days a week from approximately 9:00 am until 5:00 pm, with flexibility for one day with longer hours.
Duties:
General infant care such as assisting with diaper changes and feedings, engaging the child in developmentally appropriate activities, and washing bottles and feeding supplies. Assisting with the family’s laundry, basic tidying after the child, and light housework during the baby’s nap time.
Preparing light meals and snacks for the child. Taking the family dog out into the yard during the day.
Ideal nanny:
The ideal Nanny for this home is competent, curious, and engaging. This Nanny should strive to be a self-starter who is always seeking to learn and ask questions. Someone who is calm and experienced, and able to be present with the child always. A Nanny who is bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus. Someone who is willing to be up to date on seasonal vaccinations is needed for this home.
About the family:
This 10-month-old is sweet, smiling, and growing into his personality. These parents are kind, friendly, and warm. The discipline in this home is firm but flexible, setting expectations but remaining understanding. This family also has a 16-year old daughter who will not be needing care from the Nanny.
