Job Description



UM Shore Medical Group at Easton , a member of the  University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), is seeking  full-time experienced Pediatric Hospitalist in Easton, MD.   At Shore Regional Health, you can learn, grow and make a lasting impact on patients and families. You’ll experience the support of a collaborative work environment and a sense of collegiality unlike any other. This position will assist the team in caring for pediatrics admitted to the inpatient unit.

Job Description



 

  • UM Shore Medical Center: 126 licensed beds, low volume, 3 Pediatric Units.
  • Work-life balance: 12-hour shifts, 6 shift bi-weekly
  • Average Daily Encounters: 5-12 ppd
  • Rounding, Consultations, Admissions and discharges for : well baby nursery, special care nursery, pediatric unit and attends deliveries as need
  • J1 Visa Sponsorship provided

Qualifications

  • Medical degree or foreign equivalent.
  • Completion of residency training in Pediatrics.
  • Fellowship training in Pediatric Hospital Medicine preferred.
  • Maryland medical license or eligibility.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
  • Current DEA or similar Narcotics and Controlled Substances Certification.
  • Commitment to meeting CME requirements.

Additional Information



Compensation:

  • Pay Range: $237,516 -281,653 annually 
  • Other Compensation (if applicable): Generous sign on Bonus $20-25K  or housing allowance of $50K towards the purchase of a home in the first year, generous relocation assistance up to 10K, sign on bonus, and a production bonus
