CHI St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock, AR is seeking a highly motivated and adaptable Intensivist/Hospitalist Physician Assistant to join our growing team. This position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to gain valuable experience in both critical care and hospital medicine.

About the Role:

As an Intensivist/Hospitalist Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to patients across various settings within the hospital. This position offers the flexibility to choose daytime or overnight 12-hour shifts, working any 3 days per week.

Shift Responsibilities:

• Daytime Shift:
• • Primarily focused on patient admissions.
  • Taking and transferring calls.
  • Processing patients from surrounding Little Rock metro communities.
  • Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient transitions.
• Night Shift:
• • Working alongside a nocturnist in a hands-on role.
  • Taking all floor calls.
  • Providing bedside care to patients in the ICU.
  • Managing a wide range of medical conditions.

Schedule:

• Flexible scheduling: Choose any 3 days per week.
• 12-hour shifts: Daytime or Overnight options available.

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current and valid Arkansas PA license (or eligible to obtain).
• DEA license (or eligible to obtain).
• Strong clinical skills and a desire to learn and grow.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
