Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain seating areas, lounge chairs, daybeds and cabanas according to hotel standards.
  • Greet/Acknowledge guests and answer questions on reservation process and pool amenities.
  • Hand out, collect, and replenish pool towels and monitor inventory to minimize loss while ensuring towels are stocked and dirty towels are removed.
  • Oversee that guests are adhering to rules and safe usage while using the pool.
  • Transport supplies to pool attendant set up areas, towels/chaise lounge cover supply, acrylic ware, etc, throughout the day.
  • Complete closing duties including restocking items, turning off lights, cleaning candles/lanterns etc.
  • Assist in all other related duties as requested by management.

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
  • Excellent customer service / guest relations skills
  • Proficient in the English language to communicate both verbally and in writing with guests, owners, and co-workers, and fully comprehend job assignments.
  • Ability to tolerate environmental factors such as humidity, cold/heat, dust, and noise
  • The ability to bend, stoop, walk and lift/push/pull up to 50lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Previous Hotel/Hospitality experience
  • First Aid/CPR Certification
