Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, positive and nurturing environment for the children to develop their social, emotional, cognitive and independence skills.
• Set an example of positive behavior, communication and attitude.
• Maintain adequate supplies, equipment and materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom consistent with policies and standards.
• Follow all state regulations including but not limited to licensing.

Qualifications

• 1 year of cumulative childcare experience (daycare, nanny, or babysitter)
• Great communication skills
• Flexibility to work as a part of a team or on your own
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Cooperative attitude with the ability to communicate effectively with parents, children and educators
• A passion for child development and an interest in learning
