Summary Are you passionate about helping young children learn, explore, and grow? We’re looking for a Full-Time Jr. Preschool Teacher to join our amazing team at Crayon College Child Care Center!
This position is now available for applications — we’re excited to find the right teacher to join our Jr. Preschool classroom for children ages 2½–3½ years old. We’re looking for someone who is caring, enthusiastic, and eager to make a lasting difference in each child’s early learning journey.

Duties Plan and implement fun, age-appropriate activities that promote growth and development (we use
Creative Curriculum ).
Create a warm, welcoming classroom where children feel safe, confident, and excited to learn.
Support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through guided play and hands-on experiences.
Encourage self-help skills, cooperation, and independence as children prepare for the preschool stage.
Communicate regularly with families about daily routines, learning progress, and classroom highlights.
Collaborate with co-teachers and staff to create a consistent, nurturing environment.
Requirements 18 years of age or older
Passion for working with children and helping them reach developmental milestones
Dependable, positive, and team-oriented
Must meet all Washington State DCYF (Department of Children, Youth, and Families) requirements, including but not limited to:
- Completion of a Portable Background Check through the DCYF MERIT system
- Current CPR/First Aid certification and Bloodborne Pathogens training
- Proof of negative TB test or screening
- Up-to-date MMR immunization documentation or exemption
- Completion of required training modules, including 30-hour stars
- Food Handlers Card
