Job Summary:

About the Role & Team

Our team is a part of the Disney Signature Experiences - Pricing and Revenue Management team supporting Adventures & Expeditions! Adventures & Expeditions consists of Adventures by Disney and National Geographic Expeditions, featuring destination travel experiences in the US and throughout the world; including both owned & operated and licensing arrangements with partner tour operators, with a portfolio of group land tours, river cruises, expedition cruises, and private jet trips.

If selected for this role, you will report to the Manager-Pricing & Revenue Management Adventures & Expeditions .

What You Will Do

We maximize revenue and profitability for wide array of products via pricing, yield management, revenue planning and forecasting, and inventory management.

  • Formulate and deliver presentations to senior leaders including but not limited to: opening pricing strategy for periodic inventory releases, Corporate Forecast revenue drivers reviews, and AOP/LTP revenue drivers reviews

  • Lead and prepare content for large, cross-functional forums including Inventory Management weekly meetings, to uncover trends and actionable insights to increase profitability

  • Build, maintain and improve reporting for owned & operated and licensing arrangements products to gain insights across brands and platforms

  • Develop and implement pricing, promotional offer, and yield management strategies using detailed analysis of booking trends and competitive intelligence; partner with Marketing & Sales and Legal to finalize consumer-facing promotional offers messages

  • Develop and maintain predictive revenue forecasting models for wide variety of A&E products

  • Develop and maintain ongoing reporting for A&E business and Commercial leaders using tableau visualizations and advanced Excel modeling

  • Propose number of departures for each itinerary to be contracted by Operations team; determine which departures will open for sale directly to guests, and which will be held back for waitlists or future consideration

  • Create and maintain complex financial models used to analyze critical new business decisions

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Three+ years of experience in fields such as Pricing, Revenue Management, Inventory Management, Forecasting & Planning, or Finance

  • Able to build strong relationships with partners through outstanding communication skills, including the ability to ask questions to gain understanding and influence situations to achieve efficient solutions

  • Self-directed and proactive, constantly anticipating business needs and engaging key stakeholders

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis, with experience turning raw data into consumable and actionable insights

  • Excellent in PowerPoint and a proven storyteller with demonstrated experience translating complex analytical concepts into meaningful recommendations to partners and leadership

  • Flexible and willing to quickly learn skills and processes, while actively designing new ways to advance the business

Preferred Qualifications

  • Analytical experience within the travel industry

  • Proven data analytics skills with proficiency in associated database applications (e.g., SAS, Teradata, SQL and Tableau) and the ability to write complex queries

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Business, Finance, or other quantitative field

  • MBA or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in relevant field preferred
