Help support Pall's continued commitment to sustainability and improving the health of our communities. The Production Planner III is responsible for an area in Consumables Production Planning . This position is part of the Materials Team and will report to the Planning Manager and will be at our Deland, FL facility. This is an onsite position.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Utilize Commercial Input and System requirements to create manageable and efficient production plans with strong working knowledge of production planning logic, allocation, capacity.
Advocating and executing DMS (Danaher materials System) strategies at Gemba, with planning responsibilities that will drive production and other departments to meet On Time Delivery performance, reduce past due and optimize inventory.
Identification and troubleshooting of material inventory issues, shortages, or excess by gathering and using data to problem-solving and implement countermeasures.
Work cross functionally with internal departments and other sites to ensure materials continuity, drive improvement, and lead other initiatives to drive maximizing our customer experience.
Maintain Available off Shelf levels at a healthy state & work on schedule attainment with production.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or Engineering, with 2+ years’ experience in a planning function
Proficiency using Excel and ERP systems
Proven experience working in supply chain or logistics with various external and internal suppliers to ensured delivery or completion of materials priorities and expedited if needed.
Ability to read basic blueprint drawings, BOMs, and communicate technical requirements to internal and external departments.
Solid understanding of supply chain management principles, including demand & supply forecasting, inventory management, and lot restrictions.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Experience in a planning role that supported manufacturing.
Capacity planning and setup wheel experience
SAP is a plus
Knowledge of lean six sigma and of planning “best practices” including, but not limited to Supplier PULL Systems, Vendor Manage Inventory, Lean Daily Management, and lean improvement events.
