General Hours of work:  5; 8-hour shifts per month weekends only (10:00 AM- 6:00 PM CST) two weekends (Fri-Sat) and one additional Friday

Exempt/Nonexempt:  Non-Exempt (hourly)

Department:  Behavioral Health

Reports To: Avel eCare Medical Director

Summary: 

We are a leading telemedicine company committed to providing exceptional care to patients. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Psychiatrist to join our growing team and provide virtual consultations to patients in need of expert care.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

• Physician is able to work from home with flexible shifts!
• Competitive compensation model.
• Initial RN assessments reduce documentation time for physicians, allowing physicians to focus on what they were trained to do.
• Rewarding, acute work focused mostly on ED environments.

REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• MD or DO degree is required.
• Providers must have a California license.
• 5, 8 Hour shifts per month (weekends only 10:00 AM- 6:00 PM CST).

CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS:

• Board eligible is required.
• Board certified and trained in Psychiatry is required within 5 years of start date.
