At Recruitz, we are seeking an experienced Radiology Manager to join our leadership team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Diagnostic Imaging department, driving efficiency, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality imaging services. This position requires a hands-on approach to department management, team leadership, and continuous improvement in radiology practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations of the radiology department, including scheduling, workflow optimization, and resource allocation
Supervise and mentor a team of radiologic technologists, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety protocols
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to maintain seamless interdepartmental communication
Monitor and maintain quality control programs for all imaging modalities
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and hospital policies
Participate in budgeting and financial management of the department
Implement and oversee staff training and development programs
Manage equipment maintenance schedules and coordinate with vendors for repairs and upgrades
Analyze department performance metrics and implement process improvements
Address patient concerns and work to enhance overall patient satisfaction
Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new imaging technologies
What We Are Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in radiology, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Commitment to quality patient care and safety
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced certification in one or more imaging modalities (e.g., CT, MRI, Mammography)
Experience with PACS, RIS, and other relevant healthcare IT systems
Strong understanding of healthcare operations and reimbursement models
Demonstrated track record of implementing quality improvement initiatives
Experience in academic or research-oriented healthcare settings
What We Offer:
Competitive salary range: $110,000 - $140,000 annually, commensurate with experience
