Job Summary

Supports the implementation and support of records management to encompass the integration of comprehensive electronic records management protocols into relevant data sources, applications and tools.

Travel is not required.

Responsibilities and Duties

Supports adherences to all record-keeping mandates as outlined in the command’s strategic plan with a specific focus on both electronic and non-electronic records management practices. Candidate will support alignment with congressional mandates governing the management of records, ensuring all records are created, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with legislation. Candidate will support compliance with the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) regulations, standards, and guidance to ensure proper preservation of records. Supports adoption of relevant national and international professional records and information management standards. Engages with the Records Management Program Manager to ensure alignment with overarching records management goals and objectives. Collaborates with staff directorates to support creation and maintenance of records, ensuring all operational units adhere to established polices. Provides direct communication with program managers across various departments and agencies to ensure compliance with Federal Records Act.

Qualifications and Skills

Required knowledge and years of experience

Must have at least five (5) years of experience providing records management for DoD. Must have at least five (5) years of experience with electronic and non-electronic records management. Must have at least five (5) years of experience with NARA compliance. Must have at least five (5) years of experience with Federal Records Act compliance and the proper use and disposition of records. Must have at least twelve (12) months of experience with MS Office products.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

Certifications

Microsoft SharePoint Administrator desired.

Salary

The minimum salary starts at $65,000, and the max is negotiable based on experience.
