The DNC is seeking Regional Distributed Organizers to join the National Distributed Team. Distributed Organizers will be responsible for leading teams of volunteers to recruit, organize, and engage thousands of volunteers in call and text efforts. As a Distributed Organizer, you will recruit, build, and grow a community-based, volunteer-driven organization to support national Democratic outreach. You will be responsible for driving a virtual recruitment and direct voter contact efforts through call and text messages. You may drive targeted battleground volunteer mobilization and shift recruitment support on behalf of in-state organizers as needed.
Ideally, you know how predictive dialer and texting programs work, including tools like Spoke, Hubdialer, Hustle, and Scale to Win, and how to run your own campaigns in them. The idea of training and cultivating volunteer leadership is exciting to you, and you are as comfortable building relationships 1:1 with a volunteer as you are facilitating large groups of 100+ on Zoom.
This role will report to the Regional Distributed Organizing Directors.

Salary: The salary for this position is $62,400, on an annualized basis. This is a full-time, non-exempt position, which means you will be eligible for overtime pay for hours worked in excess of 40 in a given workweek, and this position has an end date of November 15, 2024. This position is in the bargaining unit represented by SEIU Local-500. Due to FEC regulations, only U.S. citizens or U.S. green card holders are eligible to apply for this role.The DNC requires all employees to be "up to date" on COVID-19 vaccination status as prescribed by the CDC as a condition of employment, unless otherwise prohibited by applicable law.
