About the Role

As a Regional Logistics Sustainability Lead , you effectively lead and embed sustainability into daily operations, fostering innovation and driving shift toward a positive impact on environment and society.

This role reports to the Head of Logistics Region Americas. 

A Day in the Life

Working at H&M means no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will include the following responsibilities*

  • Coordinate the execution of the Logistics Region Sustainability agenda taking actions to lead the Logistic Region towards the sustainability vision.
  • Follow up Logistics Region targets also ensuring transparency and reports of Logistics operations sustainability progress and performance from an economic, social and environmental perspective.
  • Support the work to identify sustainability trends, opportunities, challenges, issues and risks, ensuring actions are taken in the Logistics Region.
  • Monitor compliance towards industry related sustainability regulations in the Logistics Region
  • Support Regional and local teams in explaining climate strategy to partners, including active participation in defining their contribution
  • Support identifying and implanting innovative practices, technologies and pilots to enhance sustainable operations.
  • Lead investigations of sustainability incidents, also seeking subsequent improvements including mitigation plans.
  • Support sustainability initiatives within the region
  • Summarize and conclude projects and initiatives, and shared with all relevant stakeholders
  • Coordinate end to end process of identifying and implementing green investment needs for each market within the region
  • Verify compliance by supporting internal control team in area of sustainability and provides solutions to improve sustainability performance.

  • Strong understanding of environmental sustainability in Logistics operations
  • Solid knowledge of sustainability related laws, industry regulations, and requirements
  • Exceptional ability to collaborate, interact and navigate with internal and external teams and stakeholder with all level of seniority
  • Holistic view to look at the bigger perspective with a visionary approach
  • Ability to encourage collaboration, co-creation and people development by empowering others

Compensation: salary range is $98,957 - $111,326 annually**
